The Trials and Triumphs live at Lytham – and lending myself to Glasgow

A couple of weeks ago I went to Plackitt and Booth’s rather good bookshop in Lytham to talk about The Trials and Triumphs of Les Dawson. The audience was small, but appreciative, and I enjoyed the whole experience – a first for me, having never been asked to do a bookshop event for any of my previous efforts – hugely. I had a little recorder with me to capture my gabblings, and I thought I’d share the recording with both of you. You can listen to it here or download it for listening on the move. There’s modern.

If you happen to be in the Glasgow area on Saturday, I’ll be there for the Aye Write festival, talking about Les with broadcaster supreme and smashing chap Tony Currie. This session will be a full-on multimedia extravaganza, with clips of Dawson at his peak.
